Rejected Claim. ****med yet again.
Second time *****ed by Discovery insure now. Load shedding takes out my fridge and microwave. I log a claim as a possible power surge, since they both stopped working at the same time after load shedding suspended for the day. Assessor comes to assess damage. Report comes back that the claim is rejected as the damage is 'wear and tear'. What a joke. I'm told if the appliances had power damage they wouldn't turn on. You don't have to be an electrician or an engineer to know that's nonsense. It's insulting.

08 Nov 2021, 16:47Discovery arranged a 2nd assessor and they agreed to the damage. Discovery have now authorized the claim. Almost a month to finalize and complete the process, but I am happy that Discovery honored our contract.
I cannot change the rating, so I will delete the negative review instead.
