Refusal to fix Iphone cashback issue from Drive 3.0 rollout.

IPLS-16694

Disgraceful behaviour from Discovery insure. I first reported a problem four months ago, and to date zero resolution. During the change over to drive 3.0, technical glitches meant a no drive day on the 01 of June was erroneously awarded zero points, which meant I didn't achieve my drive goal for that week, which subsequently meant I only achieved 10 goals in a cycle instead of 11 and therefore wrongly halved my iphone cashback for that cycle.

It might be a small amount, but the principal of the matter is simple, Discovery made an error and should have resolved it. But after endless attempts from myself and my broker, we are still receiving the same run around and refusal to fix the problem and refund me the R320 I am owed.

With the amount I pay Discovery monthly this is unacceptable. I have never experienced a company so unwilling to fix a problem. I will be exiting the entire Discovery eco-system when my phone is paid off in three months. Well done, you've lost an insure, banking, investment and medical aid client.

The response I received below from Discovery, which I have received before and absolutely no one contacted me, none of the promised feedback was provided and nothing was done.

Let’s see if anyone actually does something now, but I can almost guarantee I will hear nothing and this is just the social media team escalating issues into a bottomless pit of nowhere.

Dear Matthew ******,

Please accept our heartfelt apologies for any difficulty or trouble we have caused you.

Our team will be in touch to address your concerns.

Of course I have heard nothing from Discovery insure. After being called shortly after my original post and promised someone would look into the problem, radio silence. Pathetic, but not unexpected. All the promises in the world and no one ever follows up.
