Putting lives in danger

I damaged my car, the front sub-frame to be exact and had to claim to have it replaced. Discovery Insure now wants to fit a second hand sub-frame, one which probably came of a car which was in an accident and could be damaged because my car is 5 years old and out of warranty.

I'm a female driving mostly alone, it is my job to be on the road and see clients. I was informed by the panel beater where my car has been for 3 weeks now, waiting for authorisation, that this is not safe.
