Putting lives at risk

When Joining Discovery insure, it is compulsory to have their chosen supplier install a tracker. During the first installation to my vehicle, all the brackets were broken that hold the panel of the dashboard. It took 3 months for Discovery to resolve the problem. Several months later, I bought a new car and a new tracker had to be installed. The installer not only caused a short which blew all the internal fuses, disabling the alarm, the odometer, the remote key and central locking, but was attached to plastic by the gears, when it should have been attached to metal. This was not the worst of it as where it was placed near the gears, it was inhibiting gear changing and gear selection, thus endangering the driver and possibly could cause loss of control of the vehicle. Because of its placement, when the gears were changed, the tracking device became unstable, alerting Discovery that there was a problem with the driver. Although now resolved, being forced to use a sub standard service provider that endangers drivers and passengers in a vehicle, is unacceptable, irresponsible, and certainly does not exhibit concern for the safety of the people paying above average premiums.
