Problems, problems, problems - no solutions

Discovery Insure has a great web and app platform for interaction. Unfortunately that is where it ends. Takes very long to speak to someone. You can never get hold of the claims agent assigned to you or their team leader. Poor service.

They outsource their accident assessments and leave to you the mercy of these assessors and panel beaters. One week becomes two, becomes three etc. Its just you and the outsourced service providers - no Discovery. No follow up from Discovery.

A simple panel beating job, where I sc****d my car against the gate, is now 3 weeks and I have still not received my car. And now I am told after all this time that the bumper cannot be repaired and must be replaced and that I must pay 50% of the costs. This is the verdict of the assessor. No Discovery. It seems that I took out the insurance policy with the assessor and not Discovery.

I am really disappointed with the service from Discovery. In fact disgusted.
