Poor service from representatives

Whomever Discovery Insure has represented them regarding responses to their website quotation requests is really trashing their name.

Last week I dealt with a consultant for an insurance quote after receiving numerous referrals from friends and family that Discovery Insure is a great company to insure with. After the consultant quoted me about R300 more than my current insurer, I asked to negotiate and why Discovery Insure would be so much more expensive.

The consultant then said he would check what discounts he could apply and then a few moments later just dropped the call. Since then I haven't heard back.

It seems like if they can't get you a good price they just figure, ***** this, and drop you. This is really not the kind of service I've come to expect from Discovery having been a member of their medical aid for the last 7 years.
