Poor service and unfixed car

I had an accident with my vehicle on the 18 January 2020. I submitted a claim which was handled by Peter Rankhatali. There was damage to my oil sump and the body of the car. I was assured by Peter that all the damage to the car was fixed.

However, when I collected the car, none of the bodywork was fixed. I tried contacting Peter multiple times on the 03 Feb, 07 Feb, 10 Feb, 11 Feb. Each time I was told that we would call me back or that another consultant would call me back with information regarding my car that was only half fixed. Eventually, on the 11th I was told that I had take the car back to the assessor. At the assessor, I was told that the body damage was not mentioned in the report. I again tried to contact Peter and emailed him but to date, I have yet to hear back.

I requested the notes from the claim and these did not include the full details of the accident, but I was assured someone from Discovery would call me back and I had to make a new claim for the damage to the body of the car. (and pay excess again for the same incident).

Since then my husband contacted Discovery on the 22nd June (spoke to Matsechaba) and again on the 25th (spoke to Khumo). Again, like me, he was told that someone would call him back. We are still waiting for this. We tried calling a supervisor (Chardine Matura) but there has been no response.

It has been 6 months since the accident and my car is still only half fixed. Despite not having my car fixed my premiums have gone up.

I'm very disappointed by the service I have received from Discovery! They keep promising to get back to me and this has yet to happen.
