Poor response
Glad I didnt take my life insurance and RA to Discovery as I was considering.
Still waiting for "management" to finalise insurance claim.
Commencing my exit from Discovery 1st insurance then 2 bank and then 3 medical aid over next 2 years.

1. Discovery is doing me a favour to pay
2. They cannot offer like for like so offering me less than like
3. Offered me Makro or Takealot vouchers which I would have gladly accepted yet I was told that I can only have money paid to a service provider.
4. None of the 3 reputable companies Wootware, Evetech nor Rebeltech are regarded as reputable
5. No indication is made what equipmemt for the pc results in the value reached. And offer reduced by R2000 with no explanation.
6. No proof of ownership yet sellers details provided as well as correspondence as well as confirmation by the seller.
7. Moral of story of Discovery ... assume bad faith from Discovery and thus do not be honest, manufacture invoice as proof of ownership and add items not ****** on list. Then Discovery ticks the box and pays. Be honest and share your emails and photos ... nope cannot tick the box.
Sad but Discovery has become too big and cannot think out of the box anymore. Rigid compliance mentality has ****ed innovation and customer service.
Guess who is moving on to other pastures.
Outsurance and Santam least problematical insurance companies.
