Poor Customer Service or should I say NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

after reading the post \Excess Funder Account"not in play during claim""" ,

Reading this makes me wonder what's going to happen to me. I've been through something similar. Nobody actually cared from Discovery to check on the car, to check on me, to respond to any emails I sent, to any of my calls.

Car accident happened on 17 December 2016, went to pick up my car finally yesterday, 09 Feb 2017. Damages weren't even major. Yet I still had issues at the panelbeater and paid the excess just to get my car back. Discovery never gave me the option to choose my panelbeater even though I requested it. My car was left in Durban because that's where the accident occurred. I stay in Gauteng, and I had to have an added expense to fly down to Durban just to get my car back and even that was annoying. No assistance whatsoever from Discovery. Discovery chose their own panelbeater. I requested extension of the courtesy car, Discovery declined that and informed me late and I had to pay penalty fees. Ignoring my emails. Ignoring my requests. The same situation, this morning I emailed for the excess to be taken off my excess funder, and I haven't gotten a response yet. I even had to pay transport fees for the courtesy vehicle to AVIS, since I picked the car up at AVIS Pinetown, KZN and returned it to AVIS Midrand, Gauteng. This is so unheard off. Its so exhausting. I also had to arrange a hired vehicle after this. All this is doing is costing me more and more money. I can't believe how disappointing Discovery Insure can be. Its all fine and well when joining and adding more insurance with them, customer support and satisfaction is a terrible NO NO. I'm sure others will experience this soon enough. I've emailed the complaints department 3 times, and have gotten the same automated response 3 times. I mean, if the complaints department has no effect, do I have to go to other measures?

Claim no. **********
