Poor attitude and service from Discovery insurance

During the year of 2022 I received 2 increases from Discovery insurance in a 7 month period even though I have never made a single claim.

When I called to enquire about this and mentioned that I could get cheaper insurance else where, I was told by the agent "you may go else where then" and the call was abruptly cut.

When I called in a few months later to cancel my policy then they wanted to give me a better price. This unfortunately annoyed me more as why couldn't they have offered me this "better price" to begin with. Too little too late Discovery.

Discovery unfortunately could not beat the other quote I had already got. The agent then went on to harbor on about how the other insurance company isn't as good among being argumentative with me through the entire process. To which I was adamant I wanted to cancel the Discovery insurance policy.

I was then put on hold numerous times to cancel this policy whereas to obtain a policy you wait no longer than 30 seconds for a call to be answered according to Discovery. In the end I was on the call for 33 minutes with more than 25 minutes spent on hold.

What poor service and attitude from their staff, I cant imagine what people must go through when they actually have a real insurance claim.
