Pathetic service, communication non existent
This has been the most pathetic service I've ever received. I had a taxi drive into my car on 17 July, I contacted the emergency number and was assisted. On the Monday morning 19 July I registered my claim and Nelisiwe was assigned to deal with my claim. From there on this experience has been a nightmare, I don't even have a chance to deal with the trauma of the accident because this claim has been a constant source of stress. I haven't heard from Nelisiwe once and have had to call every second day to prompt them to assist to get my car sorted. The assesor only went to my vechile on Monday 26 and it took them till Friday 30th to have the assessment report done. This was even after I called and spoke to Maureen who promised to fast track the claim. Nobody ever makes contact. I called and asked for an assessment report on Monday 03 July, only to see they using some 2nd hand parts I then indicated that I have an aftermarket warrantee and was told the assessors will need to look at this. I received several messages today stating my car will be repaired from 22 June. (What a joke its the 4th July) I called to enquire again this afternoon and asked about the assessment done and was told the assessors denied my request, again If I didn't call I would never receive communication. I asked for a manager and they put me on hold for 10 min again only to be told after that that the managers had already left. I'm more than 2 weeks in and very frustrated, nobody cares at discovery insure. I will make sure to let everyone know that they shouldn't bother falling for their lies as they really have no consideration or empathy for their clients. I have still had no communication from Nelisiwe who is apparently in charge of my claim.
