Pathetic Service and Discovery has lost a good reputation!!!

Claim Number **********

64 days later and only one email from the "so called" claims administrator Nompumelelo Bandezi. I have called her so many times for asistance and not once could I get through this voice recorded system that is called a land line ***. You should get a warning for pathetic service.

I still do not have my car back yet I am paying my monthly instalment.

Why has Discovery Insurance service deteriotated so badly? Do you feel you are so big that you cannot be touched? I suggest shut your doors until you realise that clients matter to your business!!!

Thank you very much for the time afforded earlier.
As discussed, we will bring you feedback to the attention of both claims and procurement divisions for consideration in upping our claims experience.
Whist there were mistakes at the time of ordering parts which led to the ultimate delays experienced, we are pleased that all parts have been received and we now have an estimated time of completion on the repairers. Please continue to use the Claimsview platform for updates on repairs.
We wish to reaffirm our sincere apologies for the delayed service experienced.

Hi Sekgobola,
You mentioned many times to monitior my claim on the Discovery website. I concurred that we are losing the human telephonic communication because you must consider the person who does not have access to the Claims site, etc (computers etc.)
I have news for you, I checked the claims section again now @ 19:40 on the 11th August 2016 and guess what...your last update states estimated completion date as 22 July 2016.
Who is fooling who and why is Discovery not doing their job of following up with the Repairer on my behalf.
You did mention numerous times that Discvery's job is to get me back in the same position I was in prior to the accident and that you are strictly a financial instution.
Now What???? May I ask.

On my side there's been updates, not sure why they have not filtered through to Claimsview.
I will ask and revert.

Please find below the feedback received, which I have asked that procurement look into the reason the updates have not pulled through to the Claimsview portal as designed to.

Hi Sekgobola.
Please see below current status and last note made on 10/08/2016 by David. This would be when the system had been updated last.
In essence this is what should be on the clients Claimsview that the vehicle is in assembly and the estimated completion date is 12/08/2016.

Thank you for your continued feedback.

Please send me your email address so I can send you a screenshot of the status.
Long story short, I still have no feedback from the Repairer or Discovery and no car 74 days later.
I guess Discovery will stick to their word that you are just a Financial Instituition and not responsible for following up on your clients claims.
If the wheels were turned and I did not pay a premium, I would receive a 100 calls from you.
I guess Discovery is to big enough to care about its clients.
