PATHETIC: NON DELIVERY OF SERVICE- DISCOVERY INS
I contacted Discovery on the 23.11.2015 regarding a claim for windscreen damage to my BMW ( 3S-2013) . I was informed by claims agent (Lebo) that Grandmark will be installing the windscreen. I was also informed that the windscreen would not be from the agent (BMW approved). After further contacts with Discovery, Ms.Je' Near informed me that I would be liable for difference of payment if I chose the agent windscreen ( R2300)As a result I conducted some of my own research and contacted BMW. BMW informed me that the motorplan /warranty will be affected if the non approved windscreen is fitted (mainly due to rain sensors/electronic impacts). I then contacted Discovery to notify them of this. They requested that I obtain documented proof of this from BMW, which I managed to do and forwarded to them on 07.12.2015. On 10.12.2015.Discovery informed me that the agent windscreen has been approved and Grandmark would be contacting me regarding the fitment. Several empty promises and apologies were made to me by both parties(Desiree Grandmark)- since then . Its now 11.01.15 and my windscreen has not been replaced. An access amount R750 was paid to Grandmark on 23.12.15.
