Pathetic Insurance

Discovery Insurance is absolutely pathetic. I took the more expensive option because they advertise that there’s no excess if it’s not your fault, however they don’t mention that you still have to pay the excess pand might get refunded if the third party has insurance!!!?!

They messed up my claim by telling their own assessor to quote half of the repairs. When they tried to deliver the car, half repaired, I refused to take it.

The assessor then said that Discovery gave him instructions to assess half the damage.

Eventually they agreed to fix all the damage, but because they delayed for so long, the courtesy car rental expired and Discovery refused to renew it!

I’m now stranded with no car for the next 7 days and I’m forced to pay the excess, even though none of this was my fault.

I’m extremely disappointed at the pathetic service that Discovery has to offer.
