Partial payment of Claims

Have been fighting with Discovery since 3 Dec 2019 to settle claim for repairs to car. Initially were going to repair car then after car being in Discovey panel beaters for 4 months the work done by "Re-New It" was sc****d due to poor workmanship and the car was sc****d. had the work been done correctly the car would NOT have been sc****d. Discovery sent settlement amount via E-mail and have now paid me an amount less than in the agreement of loss, saying this is the value the system generated. Discovery not willing to give reason for short payment. I want to go to Umbudsman for help but they require Discovery to give a reason for non payment. Think twice before taking car insurance through Discovery as this is the second time they are short paying me. This Claim *** & last years claim***.
