Panelbeaters shows Discovery what real customer service is!

At the end of last year we were involved in a rear-end collision where another vehicle collided into the left rear end of our vehicle. The claim was processed and the damage wonderfully repaired by Durban Panelbeaters! HOWEVER, the following parts were rejected by Discovery Insure:

1. Both rear tyres replacement. The left rear tyre was heavily damaged in the collision, and so they authorized it's replacement, but refused to replace the right tyre even though the car would NOT be balanced with a new tyre on the left and and old tyre on the right...surely this is not acceptable as the vehicle won't be "safe" to drive! (THE PANELBEATER replaced the tyre at their own cost as they couldn't allow us to drive off with an unbalanced car...NOW THAT's CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!) 2. The left boot (tailgate) shock was working fine before the collision...but now makes a horrible clucking sound when the tailgate is opened. I even mentioned this to the Panelbeater when I collected the vehicle. The panelbeater then asked Discovery to authorize the replacement, which Discovery also rejected stating that it was damaged by fair wear and tear...which is strange because the entire boot was fixed where the impact was and the right boot shock is fine...once again Discovery wants to "make save drivers out of our nation" but they are ok to release a vehicle with a COLLISION DAMAGED boot shock...of which could break completely at any given time of which could cause the boot to collapse on a person's head!!!
