One month on and still no resolution

Please save your money! you would have a better chance getting paid out at the casino. Been waiting for over a month just for a decision to be made, no actual work has been done. I have been claim free for over three years. Car hit a pothole which i have photos of, initially the claim was accepted but was below the excess level to be paid. It was then discovered the problem was more serious with the steering rack, which then went back into the claims process. This was then rejected as it was seen to be wear and tear. Hitting a pothole, which is clearly stated by the mechanic to have caused this issue should not been seen as wear and tear. Bye Bye Discovery, i will be removing all Discovery products if this is how they conduct business.

As expected. Still no further communication on the escalation of this matter besides being told that i would get feedback the same day. For the record, it is inconceivable how damage to the steering rack is written off as wear and tear when this is clearly as a result of hitting a pot hole and dislodging of the ball joint as stated in the quote from the mechanic. The one is a result of the other and not down to general wear and tear.

I explained this on the phone to you and was waiting to hear back from Sheridan. I must now arrange for my own towing service, to tow it back to a mechanic, so that you can fetch the vehicle from there and then deliver it on. Really don't bother, yet more time out of my day dealing having to deal with a company I don't want to have anything to do with going forward.
