Not getting my vehicle fixed due to poor quoting
13 January 2023 I was in an accident. The driver is with Discovery insure. I reported the matter to the police on same date. I sent my request for a claim number to the lady and I received a vlsim number early Feb. Then I had to take my car for assessment 20km away from my home in Benoni
It took about an hour and rhe assessor was extremely cold and kept looking at me in a way that I was guilty. When he gave me a quote it was fir R21k. I received a quote from a panebeater near me saying R35k. I am unable to open the spare wheel compartment due to this accident. The assessor saw this and tried several times to pull it open bur to no avail. The wuote did not include this bottom bumper replacement. I have phoned and emailed Discovery and no one has come back to me. I am lodging a complaint here as well as going to put this in the newspapers. If there is anyone who can assist I would really appreciate it.
The new quote makes provision for a R1200 discount. How in the blazes do you discount the quote to the person who is claiming?
I was advised that I should respond to the email with the new updated quote of R26000.
This will not fix my car Discovery.

I am not happy and I will continue until I get a fair deal. I can't even have it fixed at Suzuki shop for that amount. Now pay up or to court we shall go. Your quote did not provide the correct value if a Suzuki part and as previously stated the quote sent to you gave the part number and the actual value of the part quoted by Suzuki.
Just get on with getting me to fix this car.
I just hope and pray that anyone using you as insurance company sees your pathetic excuse of a service.
