I am with Discovery Insure, and after hail storm damage, I was told to take my car to Denttech, as prescribed by my insurance. When it was done on the 15th December, I sent someone to fetch my car, but when the person tried to lock my car, it could not lock. The central locking did not work. They contacted me, and I immediately phoned Denttech to inform them. They said they were sorry, but they are closing now, and will only open again on the 4th January 2016. On the 4th I took my car back to Denttech, where they told me after two hours that they cannot fix the central locking and it is general wear and tear that caused it to fail. They had to realign the boot as well as the driver door at the same time, because they were not flush as before. Also some parts from the doors kept falling off. So they gave us the car, and as we were about to leave, we realised none of the electric windows now also are not working. Also the one rear light was not working. We called them and after about another hour the car was fixed. My car can still not lock, and Discovery insure promised to sort it out. I still haven't heard from them. I never had any issues with the central locking.
Thank you for taking the time and speak to us about the concerns experienced, we'd like to rectify this.
As discussed, please request Ford to perform a diagnosis and report on the central lock system. Once you have the report in place, please send it to us and if it supports your concerns we will see to it that we allocate a repairer and refund what you spent on the diagnosis with Ford.
