No feedback or documentation from Discovery

On 22 November a gentleman drove into the back of our Ford Bantam at a circle intersection. He is at Discovery insurance and helped us submitting the necessary documentation. I have since waited, asked and called to hear of any progress but to this day I have not received my offer to fix my vehicle. It was a mission to get someone to asses the damage and yesterday (11 December 2019) at lady from Discovery called me and promised ma an offer before end of work today. Its now evening already and I never got my offer.

The person that assesed the Bantam was surprised when I told him I have not heard anything as they usually get back the same day or the following day. Tomorrow its been a week without my documentation.

Worst is the other gentlemans car is fixed! Yet my car is now wehere near being fixed and its holiday time, so who will fix it before January? Its clear that Discovery is only there to help their own clients. The accident wasn't even our fault yet Discovery is making our lives hell. Im really really upset about this. Even my own insurance (Outsurance) gave me immediate feedback whrn I told them that there was an accident.

Discovery, please get your act together and sort out this claim. Im at a point where I think they are doing this on purpose.

The only feedback I got was an email from Kayleigh with a very low offer (about half what other panel beaters said it would cost to fix), and no appology for taking so long to process this information. Also you sent the quotation on the exact day that the panel beaters are closing for the holidays. What a coincidence. Did you take this long to process everything on purpose?

I cannot believe the feedback so far. It's extremely disappointing and the offer to fix our car is outrageous. Now I have to drive a broken car for a whole month, while the other parties car is already fixed. Truly upsetting.
