NO FEEDBACK FROM VEHICLE CLAIMS

I logged my vehicle claim on 02/11/2020 and send photos for assessment same day. I did not want to go the drive in center for COVID reasons. The assessor advised on Tuesday that the assessment is completed and then appointed a repairer in Lyttleton after I had advised I need a repairer closer to home. Wednesday I received the report from Kedibone, quoted 6K. I clearly stated the claim should not be processed until I have went through the quote. A few minutes later after saying that I received a messaged that my claim was authorised. The authorised repairer called me, I asked why bumper was authorised, the lady said she cannot discuss that with me, I need to refer the insurer...WOW!!! Who ordered the part? The insurer? Oh well, I called the assessor directly and he advised he authorised an ALTERNATIVE bumper. This is a 2015 vehicle and I am not expecting a genuine bumper however 2nd hand would do, NOT ALTERNATIVE!!!! I referred back to my claims same day (Wednesday), communicated with her again on Thursday and she advised she is still awaiting the assessor's feedback. I have received a for over 8k, 10k and 16k. I understand the rates will differ but not this much. I sent the 2 quotes to Kedibone, nothing was said about them, if it was referred to the assessor or not. The repairs are going to reach capacity soon seeing that we are closer to the festive season. Till date I still do not have feedback, what I fail to understand was that I was able to call the assessor directly and he was reachable, I am not sure how is there a delay if the claims needs to contact the assessor. What is really upsetting the most is I have to follow up, no update nothing what so ever. Can I please have my assessment quote reviewed and claim to be finalised ASAP. The purpose of insurance is to indemnify me, alternative bumper is not putting back in same position I was before the incident. That is the same part that can be used on a 1995 vehicle. This is not on and may I have feedback ASAP.
