No empathy and sky-high increases in premiums

I got the shock of my life after getting a five hundred rand increase app**** to my premium. I called in and was told they increased my premiums cause it my anniversary. I explained that I am not working and asked for assistance with reducing and they said they cant reduce. I was transferred to retentions who also showed no empathy after I informed them that I was cancelling due to not affording. Mind you I have been covered for about 4 years with them but they were very quick to say " we have cancelled your policy and you will receive an email confirming"

Guys, really? When your customer wants a reduction you just cancel ? Disgusted
