No contact after promising to reach out within 48 hours

My car was ****** about two weeks ago. I submitted a claim which was authorized on the 23rd of July. I was told that someone would make contact with me within 48 hours. It's now the 5th of August and I have yet to hear from anyone from discovery. It's now 13 days later and the car hire which they've arranged has expired.
