No claim number since Sunday 8 October

A discovery insured driver hit my car at the back and caused extensive damage. The event happened on Sunday and according to this driver, discovery hasn’t given him a claim number and when I reached out to discovery with the accident report number and car records I was denied help. If your clients cause accidents why are you not helping the victims? Now I have to take legal action against you & your client which will definitely cost more for all parties involved.
