Whenever driving defensively and safely this new iteration of the Vitality Drive penalizes driving safely and classifies it as unsafe acts. There is zero wheel skidding, tyres screeching or objects launched through the air when driving and braking, but according to Discovery Insure all cornering and acceleration and braking is unsafe and amounts to driver actions worthy of being penalized.

Don’t know how driving around a traffic circle and exiting at a reduced speed counts as harsh cornering, but this idiot app says it is. There's no wheel spin or even items moving around inside the vehicle, but the app says it's harsh cornering. Even when going around a slightly sharp bend the app cries harsh cornering for simply following the lanes and staying within the painted lines.

Approach a red robot only to have it change to green before coming to a complete stop and when you pull away it’s excessive acceleration according to the idiot app. Seems like when you are slowing down to adjust safely to traffic conditions and then accelerate means you're a reckless driver according to the app.

Pull away from a stop sign while turning to merge with traffic without placing fellow road users in danger and it’s either excessive acceleration or harsh cornering according to this idiot app.

Looks like there's no way to drive safely without doing reckless actions according to this new iteration of the app.

Maybe the idiot app isn’t the problem, but corporate cheapskates trying to penalize drivers for driving safely. Not even the K53 driving method would comply with the ridiculous standards as all this insurer wants to do is cut down on rewards.

I don’t expect a response as it’s just the way these guys roll. Cheat people out of potential rewards to save the bottom line.
