Never ever had such bad experience
I am a client of Discovery took me nearly a month since I bumped my car by accident to get my car claim to point were it went into panelbeating. I have car hire on my policy but between Leslie Reddy believe son of Trevor Reddy who signed me up and Head Office my car hire didn't materialized. I need now to walk home 15km from work place because of *********** non phoning people. My telephone bill ia sky high in trying to solve the problem and I have a huge headache after all the frustration

18 Jul 2022, 14:24You will get the bill if I have under go heat stroke as I was not prepared to have walk 3 hours in sun. I was also the whole way without fluids. I colapse and fall in the gravel road because of cramps.I honestly didn't expect this. How treat you another human being like this. Lastly I have car hire no one mentioned I need to give a refundable deposit of R1500. I earn R46 000 a month if I need to stay at home because of anything (being ill,, sick or bot having a vehicle) I am seriously suing. In my eyes Discovery is the worst company to have anything

18 Jul 2022, 16:27Need to state 1st for Women better than Discovery Insure. They own up to mistakes, if work is sloppy they (first send assesor even from Pretoria) will allow you to take to new repair shop and even free car hire. They listen and you can talk to a person who can make valuable solutions in minutes (they don't take 5 hours with no info or not to 5 junior staff who don't care). They phone and keep you informed. My problem was that I didn't cause accident and they didn't keep other driver liable.

You need to pay refundable deposit (I believe car hire and everything with it their responsible). Seems if you burst by accident during car hire a tyre or crack wind screen also your problem. Discovery don't pay for it. Why do they offer then this service if we pay monthly to have it and still we need to pay during hiring period. 🤔
