Need a plumber - not an Assesor
So I am trying to log a claim for a burst pipe and need a plumber urgently..... so I get this e-mail:

Good day. Please note that I have appointed Mms Dri-tech to assist with the assessment on the damaged items. Mms Dri-tech will call you and make assessment arrangements with you, once the assessment has been completed I will finalize your claim.

When I reply to this I get an email that states the agent is Out-Of-Office...

My first claim with Discovery and not impressed!

Thanks for speaking to us, your comments have been noted.
As mentioned, an assessment is compulsory to determine if this damage is insurable. This is purely a standard procedure. An alternative would be to arrange a service provider of your choice to assess and attend to the repair and should we determine that the damage is insurable, we'll reimburse you accordingly.
