My first time...

<p>Coming straight out of varsity and into the real world can be an extreme wake-up call for anyone whose never had to deal with having to take out health insurance, life cover or even just submitting their first tax return!</p> <p>Recently, I was placed into a situation where by I NEEDED to purchase a vehicle. Little did I know that when borrowing money from the bank, the vehicle may not leave the premises until the buyer has proven that he/she has full comprehensive car insurance on said vehicle.</p> <p>So my daunting quest of finding an affordable insurer began. I reluctantly contacted Discovery Insure to inquire about their various products. Now, I say reluctantly because I assumed that they would be hellishly expensive... But I was happily proven wrong! I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Vusi from their sales team and from the get go, it has been a great experience. You see, I have a very tight budget that I needed to stick towhoch other vendors ignored. Vusi however, seemed to really understand this. He worked his magic and managed to get me a premium that I could afford and have piece of mind that my car is in safe hands. On that note, the contract with Discovery is much lower than some of the major competitors.</p> <p>This is not where my story ends though. There was an issue where by my vehicle will have only be collected later this week. Discovery Insure requests that a pre-inspection of the vehicle is performed and submitted within 5-days from that date the car was collected otherwise your cover is downgraded to third party. I eagerly confirmed with Discovery that the car would be collected earlier than I had anticipated. I was informed that delivery would be delayed and that I would fall out of this 5-day window, panic struct.</p> <p>I contacted Discovery and was helped by Marc Kuypers. Marc was extremely insightful and managed to resolve my situation within minutes. I could note have asked for a more understanding and capable consultant.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like to extend my sincerest thanks Discovery, especially to Vusi and Marc, for their unwaivering work ethic. I hope my relationship with this company continues to be a positive one and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great customer service.</p>
