Motor Insurance

In October 2014 I joined Discovery motor insurance. All sounded good to receive up to 50% back on fuel rewards for the month.<br> They work on a point system, and according to the points earned, that will determinant the percentage of reward amount. back. In a year of being with them I have never received a 50% reward. What really amazed me, spending up to R1500+ per month on fuel, I got a pay back of R84 !! How bad must my driving be to earn that amount!!<br> Also, upon joining they advised that after 1 year my motor insurance premium will reduce because of the lower retail value of the vehicles. When I phoned them last month, they told me that the premium will not reduce. I spoke to them again today, 17 Nov 15, and was informed that the premium can only be reduced in six moths time. So I must pay more to get out less should any thing go wrong?? This is not on! For a big and well known company like Discovery this is a shame. I am a member of the medical scheme and vitality plan as well. This makes me wonder what will happen if I get really ill or even land in hospital??<br>
