Misleading and ***********

Good morning, I would like to share my terrible experience with those who are seeking trustworthy and reliable insurance and insurance brokers.

Firstly, the worst of this experience, was the in-house insurance broker! When we moved our insurance over to discovery , it was quite clear that we were keeping our portables items (mainly jewelry) as we had it with the previous insurer no hassles. Also we were quite clear while chatting to him in our home that the only reason we take household items insurance is so that we can have our wedding rings insured as portables. Unfortunately we thought we were insured until i recently got ******. Thank God my wedding bands were not ******, however other costly items and cash etc was. When i then wanted to log a claim, it was told that we dont have portable items insurance!

He has not stipulated certain details on our policy as that we do not have a linked alarm. When my husband questioned him, he said its because if your alarm is not set then it affects the claim , some lame excuse like ! We have a linked alarm to ADT which he is aware of ! he cant just decide to add and take away as it affects our premium!!!!!!

Secondly, he has listed me as a main driver on our car insurance though we were very clear that my husband was the main driver!

Some other issues are that i have waited months for my email change, though i filled out new email address with him when he was handed over our policy, i have sent emails and tried online myself.

I have noticed up until now that my policy holder initial is incorrect, and still has not been changed!!!!
