Massive point deductions should your phone die while out and about!

How can Vitality drive penalise me 50 points out of 60 for two trips I drove yesterday when my phone died just while I was at a supplier yesterday. I put my phone on charge when I got in to the car but it charges so slow and I thought it best not to fiddle with my phone while driving. This whole week I have had a perfect score of 60 points every day and now because my battery died I loose 50 points! Unacceptable! I even have messages advising my contacts that my battery was about to die while at the supplier. How ridiculous! I was pushing to get to Diamond status. I just think it’s seriously unfair and silly.
