Looking for ways to profit and not pay clients claims
Let me start by saying I drive a 2018 Renault Sandero!! Discovery changes conditions of cover on policies with out notifying clients, in 2018 I took out cover for my vehicle and there was no tracker requirement, today I called in to look at my premium which is still the same after 4 years and to my surprise the consultant told me I have and am paying for comprehensive insurance yet I am not covered for theft or hijack , Shock waves went trough my body ! , I asked when was this condition changed? She advised February 2021, so for over a year I have been driving a vehicle around with no theft or hijack cover and I was never aware of this , I want the theft portion of my premiums paid back and I will report you at the ombudsman! , the consultant further went to offer me the d track as an alternative which I know it’s not a ****** recovery device it simply monitors your driving how you celebrate !, your speed ! And not to recover your car , it appears that Discovery is now trying to capitalise on there nonsens D track system by adding tracker to clients policies as requirement so that they add a device marketed and sold by them to increase profits , This is not treating clients fairly and I want all recordings and will report You at the Ombudsman for you undesirable practice.
