Just another corporation squeezing every cent out of you?

Firstly your call room consultant Thandeka was incredible.

I would like an explanation on an issue.

I bought a sport watch 2 years ago and insured it for R5000 (the price of the watch at that time)

Last week it was ****** at Gun point

When looking at my insurance policy it clearly states "insured for sum of R5000" this is in contrast with the insured cellphone that says "insured for retail price"

In the interim a better model of the same watch has been released which means my current watch is now available for R3800 (the amount quoted has been confirmed by you)

Surely the watch I should get should be equivalent to the insured amount?

My excess is R750.

So this means your pay out should surely be 4250

I am happy to waive the excess for a replacement watch in which case your payout will STILL be R400 less than the insured amount.

I would like an explanation and NOT an apology
