It cannot be poor service if there was actually none.
I was in a motor vehicle accident on the 10th of July (Luckily no injuries sustained). My vehicle was taken to place A where it stood until the Thursday only to be taken to place B where it waited until someone eventually went to assess it on Monday the 17th (Take into account that place B was a block away from my initial accident, Discovery likes double handling). I received assistance on the Monday after politely begging for assistance the previous Friday. To cut it short it has been one of the worst experiences in my life thus far. It has been a mix of no feedback and very little service (I am still waiting for feedback from my claims administrator since the 22nd of Aug, which is probably normal due to this being the attitude since the start of my dilemma). I have done 90% of gathering the information and putting pressure on the necessary people to assist me. Then there is the issue of Discovery not sticking to their story, one day I was informed that there was a delay on my claim only to be told the next morning by a different person that the other employee did not read properly (Are they trying to cover for each other?). To add to the excitement, the panel beaters allocated by Discovery has now twice extended the deadline for my vehicle, on both occasions it was extended for a week. Great stuff Discovery!!!
