Insurance Claim for House Break-in

On Tuesday, 07th July I got a frantic call from my daughter around 12h50, stating that someone had broken into the house while she & the helper were there. They broke in through my daughters bedroom window & stole her cell, laptop and a few minor things. Thank goodness that they did not see them. My daughter was in my bedroom & the helper, downstairs in the kitchen. I told my daughter to press the panic button as I was her 1st point of contact. She did as she was told.<br> <br> Anyway to cut a long story short, later that day, after giving statements & making a report to the police I called Discovery to check what the process was regarding claiming. I had never claimed before & I needed to make sure that the most important items, the cell & laptop were replaced as my daughters holiday was coming to an end. She is currently in her 2nd year at WITS & is flying back next week.<br> <br> Kele took my call & explained the process, emailed me & was a great help throughout it. After submitting the docs, the claim was approved within a day. Kele knew my concern re the laptop & cell as my child needs this for varsity. Thank you Kele & I wish there were more people like you.
