Insurance cancellation

I joined the insurance on the 7th May 2019 but cancelled on the 27th may 2019 sent email to state that i no longer want the insurance 1st premium supposed to be the 1st July 2019 but due to i had cancel did not expect deduct but it was i did not even send vehicle for pre inspection. But no-one is willing or able to help with the matter i just received email stating email refence no.
