Insurance Assessors
<p>You guyz have been lucky, it is true that the Discovery Insure consultants are friendly and helpful however some of the assessors that Discovery Insure is in business with are useless, pathetic and incompetant . They must be retrained on how to check for vehicle accident damage and repairs.</p>

19 May 2016, 08:55I have been advised by Discovery Insure to refer the matter to Ombudsman, I really did not want to go that route at all. Apparently your assessors have a final word when it comes to vehicle repairs - there is no trust relationship between Discovery Insure and clients. Middleman has all the powers in the world. God, please have mercy on us!!!!

I am asking all these questions because I have a medical aid with Discovery health and have never used it since I joined. I can imagine this Assessor’s report that would be submitted to hospital. “THE CLIENT FRUCTURED NECK IS NOT ACCIDENT RELATED” when you ask him why is he saying that, his answer would be “THE VEHICLE WAS HIT FROM THE BACK WHILE THE CLIENT WAS SITTING IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT AND THERE WERE NO CASUALTIES REPORTED” IT COULD HAVE HAPPEN THAT THIS CLIENT WAS DRIVING HIS VEHICLE WITH THE TWISTED NECK WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN THE ACCIDENT” because the report would be from the assessor, Discovery Insure consultant would then say “As such Discovery won’t entertain that proportion of the damage as it is not related to the actual accident.
