Injustice paying for insurance and not paying out

About 2 weeks ago we load shedding over a period of two weeks. I have a fridge in which we keep all our large cuts of meet and fish.we had a14 hours with no power due to load shedding and a fault on City Power subs.I believe over load shedding cycle the contents went off. About 2 days later I went into my store room outside were fridge is and they was a foul smell. I put in a claim and it was rejected They said that they only pay out for faulty fridge , I told them even my inverter went dead. I find an injustice that they won’t pay out for my meat and fish, which I had to throw away.
