Information not available

I have been insured with Discovery Insure for about 18 months now and have found better cover elsewhere. I now need to have the DQ tracker removed from my vehicle but despite reading through numerous documents, had no luck in finding the answers.

More details needs to be provided for the removal going forward.

1) Can the device only be removed only after your cover ends? 2) Would removal prior to the end of cover, impact your ability to claim should you be required to? 3) How many days do you have to remove the device?

These are critical questions that can cause huge financial loss should there be an event.

Would appreciate insight into these queries.

Overall, I haven't claimed in the past 18 months, but have been satisfied with the service.

Thanks

Thank you for taking my call.

As discussed, the device may be removed prior to your policy lapsing, however please bear in mind that in the event of theft we would not be able to track your vehicle, and so it would be advisable to remove the device after the policy has lapsed.

In order to remove the device you may do so through by contacting our DQ Track team on ***, to book a date, this will be determined on technician availability.
