Inferior service delivery

Taking insurance from Discovery Insure makes no sense.

To get me on board they **** that one of the specifications that the other insurers require is not required by them. When I then later queried something else they said it DOES matter and my premium will need to be increased. When I said that this is not what was said during the quote and asked for the recording of it to be played they simply ignored me and never got back.

When my car was damaged they want to send you to the far corners of the earth to get an assessment done. I simply refused and they eventually agreed to send someone out to me. I have a new Ford Ranger and should only be worked on by a Ford approved panel beater, which I strongly suspect they have none on their books, because they wanted to give me a small settlement and then wash their hands of the situation. When I said I want them to fix it they said they would call me back with details and then just never did. I called them again to "remind" them. Getting the same story and still no reply. Although they fall under the Discovery brand I think this is a very small operation and they know how to charge, but not how to pay claims.
