Incorrect Debit Order and the reasoning.

Hello all. I have been with Discovery a little over a year now. never had a problem with the debit order, until this morning. My wife had bought a new car, so naturally I told Discovery to please remove the old car off my policy. The new car has been insured by another company so it was not added to my existing Discover policy. This meant that I have a new monthly premium. So comes this morning, the day of the set debit order. For some or other reason Discovery debit the old premium off, not the new on, the old one, a full R1000+ over. So I called the call center this morning and a very helpful lady picked up the phone and told me that because I changed the policy close to month end Discovery would debit me the old police and credit me the balance. So this meant I have paid for a car that in no longer been driven buy my wife or myself, I have a 'credit' with Discovery for the next month. Total BS! Discovery please explain to me how my credit with you is going to pay for the cover on my wife's new car? How is my credit with you going to buy me food or fill up my car? And then I was told that it will take 5 to 7 days to get my money back... really? Your super quick to take my money but i need to wait up to a week to get it back? You have no right to take that extra money from me and the 'credit' me. I gave you no permission to do so. When I changed my policy not a thing was explained to me that this would happen. It borders on theft and you think a "o sorry will pay you back in 5 to 7 days" will cut it? Discovery, you need to make this right, today! J
