Incompetency or plan deceit

Overcharging and basically *****ing customers money . I like Discovery I do they follow trends but nothing really ground breaking or new as with so many companies in south Africa they copy what has been out there for many years and not excluding customer retention tactics . This is my story in short . 1 year ago I decided to join discovery insure as I have medical aid with them and they were basically the cheapest quote I got , that offered all these "fancy" extras at no additional cost ( the cost is hidden in vitality drive payment ;) ), now this is just to rope in a customer . Fast fwd 1 year later and the annual review comes and BOOM R450 increase . Paying almost R2000 for a 2year old polo is just ridiculous . I called roundabout 5 odd times to try and get the price down to no avail , excuse is that VW in general is a high risk vehicle . so eventually being gatvol of the same excuse I decided to shop around and got a amazing quote with A&G through VW finance , call Discovery back to cancel and now all of a sudden they can give one a discount , as the new plan was only R50 above my initial ( +-350 down from the high ) I decided to stay with them ( mission to get the tracking device taken out ) . This is where it becomes interesting , this month I received the payment notification and they took a much higher amount than was communicated to me via my updated amended insurance plan ( *****ing ones money ) , so lo and behold I checkup on the app and guess what nothing has been changed and the amount still on the high . Honestly come on guys .
