******* charges by Discovery Insure

I have been insured with Discovery Insure for more than 20 years, My vehicle was ****** in August 2021 with a DQ Tracker which proved to be ineffectual. The ******* simply jammed the DQ Tracker and drove off with my vehicle which was never detected by Discovery Insure. Their system did not have a function where if the DQ Tracker signal stopped functioning a Red Flag would pop up on the system for them to investigate. However I was charged R1180.00 because I did not return the DQ Tracker that was "******" with my car!! That is ludicrous, I had to query this and was eventually refunded. To make matters worse I finally cancelled my Insurance Contract with Discovery as the premiums escalated by 10% per annum for vehicles that were 10 years old. Guess what, a month later they debited my account for R1180.00 again because I didn't return the DQ Tracker for my vehicles that never had a DQ Tracker installed in the first place! I queried this with Innocencia Rakgalakane from the Client Servicing department who followed up and confirmed that none of the vehicles on the contract were installed with a DQ Tracker device.

Now this is my concern, how many customers of Discovery Insure are *******ly debited for R1180.00 and don't follow up with them? I feel they deliberately do this knowing that many clients would not notice or bother querying this ******* transaction resulting in Discovery raking in thousands of rands *******ly.
