I would rather kill myself than deal with Discovery Insure.
Dealing with Discovery Insure was worse than the car accident.
I had an accident in my car. There was cosmetic damage to the bonnet / hood of the car. I could not take in my car to be assessed by Discovery as I work 6/7 days a week and the car was still driving. I submitted photos of the damage to discovery and they gave me a quote for damage payout, of which I agreed.
More than 2 weeks later, my car breaks down and Discovery still hasn't paid me out for my accident. I towed my car with my own money to my own mechanic in Woodstock. He reported that all 4 cylinders of the engine had blown.
I then sent the quotation that my mechanic gave me for the engine damages - of which consists of an engine replacement. Discovery refuses to pay me out for the underseen engine failure.
I have no car, no money to pay the mechanic, and I have phoned SEVERAL agents who never get back to you.
DO NOT GO WITH Discovery Insure - You will want to kill yourself.
Thanks Discovery Insure :)
PS. How do you sleep at night?

- The damages reported in the claim were limited to the bonnet and bumper, which makes any engine damages inconsistent with the initial description provided at the time of claim initiation.
I sent you photos of the damages, as I couldn't take the car in to be evaluated. How the **** am I supposed to know that the engine was damaged, I am not a mechanic.
"The damages reported in the claim" was at a Turn Circle when I assessed the damage that I could see, and was able to drive away at that point in time.
My car broke down (The engine died) on Sunday the 19th. I signed the form on May 10th. My car was still driving then.
