I got new Iphone 8 plus! Discovery Insure made my day!

An unfortunate Hijacking attempt led to a smashed iphone 7 screen and crushed Oakley Sunglasses!

Luckily I was covered by my partners Discovery Insure Policy.

They couldn’t source a replacement screen anywhere, for my iphone 7, and this is where AWELANI NEMAANGANI, Vip Claims Teamleader from Discovery Claims stepped in and authorized vouchers for me to claim a brand new phone!

So I took the opportunity, and paid in the excess of R1500 plus and extra R2000, and upgraded myself to the NEW iphone 8 Plus!

Awelaani also confirmed that a cash payout would be effected to replace my ‘much loved’ Oakley shades which cost me R7500.

All in all, my terrible hijack experience resulted to some comfort where at least, my personal possesions were covered.
