How long does it take to compile a competitive quotation??

<p>So I have been a Discovery Health and Discovery Vitality member (on Diamond status) forever. When Discovery Insure offered the 50 % fuel discounts, I moved my car insurance (despite the fact that I was very happy with Santam where I was insured). Discovery subsequently changed the 50 % fuel discount rules to apply only when you have both car and household insurance with them. I started doing some research on insurance pricing by calling Hippo and within 30 mins I had 5 quotations (including one detailed policy schedule). I sent these quotations to Discovery Insure and asked them to provide me with a competitive quote for both car and household insurance. They responded with a long questionaire which I completed and returned the very next day. This was on the 8th of December and to date no quote, not even a response. I was hoping to change my insurance for 1 Feb 2017 (allowing for a month's notice), but now it seems this date is optimistic. I now wonder if this is indicative of the service I will be receiving from Discovery if I change???</p>
