High Rates

For the past 2 years it has been impossible to get any discount on my policy even when my annual anniversary is 1 Feb the reply I get each time is that I have to try again in 6 Months .

In 2014 my premium started on 706.19 for 10 months , Dec 2014 they emailed and it increased to 792.17 for 2015 . Discount was app**** that Feb 2015 and it decreased to 721.33 until Dec 2015 . No discount was app**** in Feb 2016 my anniversary and I had to wait for 6 Months untli Aug 2015 so my premium stayed 795.17 for the whole of 2016 . The discount that was offered was 9 rand ( 9.00 ) againt a premium of 795.17 per month .

End Dec 2016 I get an email with the new increases etc and my premium has increased to 887.38 for a 2008 Opel Corsa with no claims and no premium discounts for that last 2 years and then now again I have to wait 6 Months but you don't have to wait for your money each month , so please explain why my premium has increased with 92.21 ?

(Please don't say it is because the cost of fixing the cars has increased or the parts for older cars are more)

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your dissatisfaction with the increase of your premium.

It is unfortunate that these are the rates that we can give at this stage, as they will ensure that we are also able to put you back in the same position at a time of loss/ or damages.

We are very sorry that you have found this disagreeable.

Reviewer Update

That is not an answer sorry ! For the service I get compared to the price I have to pay for it then I'm being ****med (a dishonest scheme; a *****) . It is highly over priced and according to the reviews on here claiming (if I have to someday) would be a endless battle and frustration

Why would Discovery Insure still be the better option ??
