GREAT SERVICE BY DISCOVERY INSURE EMPLOYEE KASTELLO GOVENDER

I am a member of Discovery Insure from October 2011. During this time I had 3 big claims. Every time Discovery was on the ball with the claims.

Recently I asked my broker to relook my policy as my premium was very high. He responded that he tried and could not get Discovery to lower the premium.

As a loyal member of them, I was really disappointed, and started to get quotes from other insurance companies. Most of them had my premium on at least a R1000 less than what I was currently paying. I then decided on a new company and phoned Discovery to cancel my policy.

This is where the turn around started.

I have been assisted by Kastello Govender from the Retentions Department. He handled the whole situation with a great deal of compassion. He never said anything bad against the competition and never made me feel like I need to stay with Discovery. He went out of his way to look into the full policy to determine where we could save on my premiums. At the end of the day his efforts paid off and he could almost beat the competitions offer.

He made me feel like I was a valued member of Discovery Insure. My previous positive experience with Discovery Insure as well as the low excess needed when you have to claim, assisted me in making my final decision to remain with Discovery Insure.

Was it not for Kastello Govender patience, knowledge and experience with his work, respect for me as a client and his willingness to walk the extra mile to help me reach my expectations, I would have cancelled my policy.

Discovery can be proud of him as an employee.

I am really glad that Kastello convinced me to stay with Discovery. I have been a loyal and happy client for almost 9 years now and I am promoting Discovery with family and friends since I joined them. I am truly grateful that I do not have to explain to my friends and family that I left the company.
