Great service at a horrible time

While Discovery Insure may not be the cheapest insurer out there, I have recently experienced exceptional service, and they have made a life long client out of me. I was involved in an accident on 23/6/21, where I drove through a flooded bridge. Water started streaming into my car and I was very scared and panicked. Tracker phoned me due to the battery showing 'disconnected' and put me through to Discovery. I was extremely emotional and the operator speaking to me at Discovery was calm and to the point, not wasting my time. A tow truck showed up to help me, not sent by Discovery although they had already arranged someone from their end. They without hesitation transferred the service to the tow truck that was already at my side and they could immediately assist me. Unfortunately I cannot remember my call centre operator's name, but she kept on calling me every 15 minutes to follow up if the situation had been resolved without being a pest, but rather a comfort. As soon as the car had been towed, they contacted me to let me know my hire car from Avis would be available that afternoon, even without me asking for it.

Thank you Discovery, you made a horrible situation just a little more bearable. The car was written off and the settlement was paid into my account timeously, thank you to Tshepo Kekane for keeping me updated everyday as to the progress with my car. When applying for a new vehicle, I knew who I would contact to be my insurer and Kostello Govender as well as Koketso Mokgehle assisted me immediately, helping me to insure my car and supplying my needs. Both giving great service.
