GEYSER DISPUTE

<p>We were with Outsurance before and had a burst geyser last yea which OUtsurance replaced with a Heatech geyser. This geyser which is still under warranty burst on the 3rd of June. We paid for a plumber to confirm this. After speaking to Otsurance they rferred us to the manufacturer Heatech who send out their plumber. In hhis report he claimed that the geyser was tampered with and they will not replace it. Outsurance said we must claim though our current insurance Discovery Insure. Discovery sent out their service provider plumbers who also confirmed that the geyser was in fact burst and the manufacturer must replace it as its still under warranty.</p> <p> </p> <p>Heatech refuse to replace it and outsurance have also just said sorry they cannot assist. After various calls, I got through to Kele Bezu at Discovery Insure and she has managed to get authorisation on this claim. I finaly got te service we are paying for. Thank you Kele, and we are looking forward to a hot bath in the cold weather!</p>
